Craig Ferguson or just Ferg, I have been a Firefighter in Texas since 1999 and a Paramedic since 2005. I started leatherworking as a hobby and found a niche within the firefighting community. I started making custom tooled motorcycle seats about 6 years ago and over time my firefighting gear went through several design changes until I developed a set of bunker gear suspenders that I LOVED! I soon found that other firefighters were interested in them since they were comfortable to wear on the job AND offered a really cool vintage look that could express your personal style as well as pride for what we do and the men and women we do it with.
I am REALLY excited to be able to take it to the next level and develop the website to pedal my wears as well as develop some new products. I have one particular NEW PRODUCT in development right now that I anticipate being in production in late fall 2011 or early spring 2012. It's something completely new that the fire service has never seen before and will totaly make our job on the fireground EASIER! So I'm looking forward to battling the 100's of years of firefighting tradition unimpeded by progress to see my gear on every firefighter and every fire rig in the nation and maybe even the world!
